These dual degrees allow you to study maths and its practical relevance. You can choose how much mathematics you want to study: give both subjects equal weighting on the 'and' course, or major in Computer Science and minor in Maths on the 'with' course. The course is taught in conjunction with the School of Mathematics and Statistics. It's a natural partnership: maths is a key contributor to the field of computer science. You'll explore the theoretical mathematical side to computing as well as the more practical engineering aspects. In the final year, you'll undertake a piece of group research, and have the chance to work in our student-run software company.
