Course Description

The Advertising major (J:AD) is built upon the Creative Strategist model. Our students learn and develop critical, conceptual and creative skills to solve problems responsibly for people and brands in a global economy. Our graduates are leaders in creative and strategic fields in leading global agencies, client corporations, and non-profit organizations. Advertising courses underscore the necessity for curiosity, strategic and design thinking, and brand responsibility. Our program uses project and experiential learning as a key contributor to student success. Advertising students have opportunities to join the NYC Experience, the annual weeklong trip to New York agencies, media outlets, and social change organizations like the Clinton Global Initiative.
