Course Description

With a long history of teaching civil engineering and construction programmes, matching industry-based learning with academic excellence, UEL's School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering gives you everything you will need to fast-track your career. You will gain a thorough grounding in the construction environment, its processes and the nature of the industry. You will also gain knowledge of project planning, project finance, and the regulatory framework in contract law and health and safety. You will also understand the influence of sustainable design and the need for efficient delivery of a project in terms of time, cost and quality. You will develop a range of tools and skills to be effective and job-ready, aware of current concepts and techniques and understand how they can be applied to construction decision-making, planning and control.
