This programme provides specialist training in the field of race, ethnicity and conflict studies. The programme has four components: * i) Core modules: theories of race and ethnicity, research methods, conflict. * ii) Optional modules in areas such as: ethnic cleansing and forced migration; ethnicity and social policy; human rights and international issues; race, ethnicity; Gender, race and conflict; migration and the European labour market; migration and education; representation and resistance. (topics can vary from year to year). * iii) A 20,000 word dissertation on any approved topic relating to race, ethnicity and conflict.
