Gain the training to effectively provide hands-on care and support the physical, emotional, environmental and social needs of older adults. In the 27-week HCA program you will apply what you learn in care facilities, assisted living facilities and private homes in the community. During the HCA program, you learn to provide care to older adults using a person centered approach. You learn to practice ethically in a responsible and accountable manner using caring and respectful communication skills. You will think critically and creatively to meet the varying needs of clients and work effectively as a team member.
