The Computer Engineering Technology (CET) specialization requires all students to complete a minimum of 33 graduate credit hours. Of the 33 graduate credit hours, at least 18 of those hours must be at the 60000 level, and at least 21 hours must be taken in the courses offered by the College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology (course name prefix AERN or TECH).

CET students will have the opportunity to conceptualize, develop and analyze requirements engineering specifications for practical systems. CET students are provided with an opportunity to participate in formal review of their requirements engineering projects, with Subject Matter Experts from industry whenever possible
