What’s more, you’ll get to study additional units that include: Citizenship; health and fitness, Adventurous Activities and Teamwork for the public services and much more. At Gloucestershire College, you’ll get the chance to enjoy the best facilities that rival any Further Education Institution. There’s a state of the art sports hall and fantastic classroom facilities. Also the college has a great relationship with the local public services; you’ll get the chance to go on riot training with the police, meet the range of armed services and may even get the chance to take part in one of the tri services training days. We also have an excellent link with the Gloucestershire Army Cadet Force which will give you the opportunity to see firsthand what it is like working in the Uniformed Services. In addition, you can improve on your English and Maths if you need to, thanks to the supportive functional skills team. The team will help you to get to grips with communication, application of number, and ICT skills to help you complete your assignments to highest levels. Throughout the course, you’ll be set assignments which will be graded and will make up your final mark at the end of the course.
