Social Science Research Methods (Business and Management Studies: Banking, Finance and Accounting) (MSc/PgDip)

Course Description

In order to have a meaningful contact with research being conducted by the staff in Cardiff Business School, students are linked to one or more academic sections. Students will be supervised by academic staff with considerable expertise in their chosen fields. These staff members are actively involved in disseminating research via publications in academic and practitioner journals, books and presentations to conferences. Many staff members are involved in editing or reviewing for scholarly management journals. For the taught component, students will be required to complete six 20-credit modules (5 core research modules and 1 pathway module – focusing on research in HRM. In all modules students have the opportunity to engage with literature and research relevant to their pathway (Business and Management Studies: Human Resource Management).
