With a strong emphasis on mirroring the workflow of the industry in our new, purpose-built media centre, it offers practical, professional preparation for a rewarding career.

This course is designed to help develop a career in the radio industry, whether in front of the microphone or as an editor, researcher or producer. The first year concentrates on the fundamental skills of operating a studio and presenting a show, recording interviews, and using digital technology to edit and mix sound. In years two and three, students make music radio shows and short features, in preparation for running a live radio station at the University.
