The mechanical engineering faculty offer a graduate program leading to the MSE in mechanical engineering. The MSE is the non-thesis master's degree in mechanical engineering and requires either a comprehensive exam or an applied project as a culminating event. A number of wide and diverse research areas may be pursued. All of the graduate programs stress a sound foundation leading to a specialized area of study.
