Course Description

ASU’s School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering is actively engaged in pushing the boundaries of science, medicine and engineering in areas that include cardiovascular engineering, imaging, biovirtual reality, rehabilitation, neuroengineering, biomaterials, synthetic biology, tissue engineering, biosensors, regenerative medicine, biomechanics and medical devices and diagnostics. The doctor of philosophy in biomedical engineering is conferred upon evidence of excellence in research resulting in a scholarly dissertation that is a contribution to knowledge.
