Aim: The aim of this course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge to read, interpret and produce geometric and sketch drawings, and to understand the properties, characteristics and uses of engineering materials and metals. Students will also learn about first aid conditions and how to provide first aid. This course includes NZQA unit standards 2430, 2432, 20799, 20917, 26551 and 26552.
