Pg Diploma in Computer Aided Engineering

Course Description

This Computer-Aided Engineering programme at University of the West of Scotland has been designed primarily for engineering and technology degree postgraduates to provide them with a more in-depth knowledge of Computer-Aided Engineering and its applications. All the Masters, Diploma and Certificate courses, based on the Paisley campus near Glasgow, have options in Analysis, Business, Management, Manufacturing, Web Technology, Visualisation and Analysis. The flexible full or part-time structure of the UWS MSc Degree and Postgraduate Diploma course facilitates specialist study in specific areas in Computer-Aided Engineering as well as the broadening of students’ knowledge base through the study of complementary topics. The course has been structured around four core modules. Students then select from a list of possible option streams, each comprising two modules, to complete the award. The qualification awarded will reflect the chosen option stream in the title eg Postgraduate Diploma in Computer-Aided Engineering with Manufacturing.
