Course Description

The MBA Entrepreneurship aims to combine an advanced teaching and learning programme in management with a focused and practical approach to Entrepreneurship education. The course will enable you to engage in a study of entrepreneurial individuals and organisations (including private, public and social enterprises), focusing on the interaction between entrepreneurship, management practice and the external environment. The aim of the programme is to enable you to develop entrepreneurial creativity and awareness within the context of a well-rounded management education, and you will be encouraged to apply entrepreneurial skill sets across a variety of settings. The course is underpinned by a clear and pervasive emphasis upon creativity, invention, design and innovation. You will be engaged with these processes at the outset and use them as integrative elements throughout the course. The programme will provide you with access to an expansive network of organisations across a range of industries, as well as state-of-the-art learning and enterprise development facilities. Primary among these is the Hayden Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which provides student entrepreneurs with bespoke infrastructure, as well as business advice and support. The programme will be appealing to both entrepreneurs interested in developing their management skills, as well as experienced professionals looking to become more entrepreneurial.
