Pacific and Global Health provides education about Pacific peoples’ health, context in New Zealand and the region, socio-economic determinants of health, and priority areas of health. The skills developed and knowledge learnt will ensure graduates are prepared to serve the needs of diverse communities globally, acknowledging the increasing diversities of our communities, and communities where our students may come from, economic pressures and changing societies. Pacific and Global Health gives graduates the skills to work effectively with Pacific peoples and / or their communities within the context of health care and provision.
