Course Description

CSU's Bachelor of Information Technology (with specialisations) provides you with the skills you need to keep up with rapidly developing technology and become a valued employee in the information technology industry. You can choose the study mode that suits you, with options including: study at a CSU campus or CSU Study Centre study by distance education from almost anywhere in the world combine TAFE and CSU study at the same time. CSU's Bachelor of Information Technology (with specialisations) is designed to have a strong focus on the business applications of information technology (IT), and includes subjects based on the Help Desk Analyst and Certified Desktop Technician certifications, which will help you gain your first job in the industry. During this course, you will first study core aspects of the computing discipline such as databases, data communications, systems analysis and design, information security and project management. You will then choose a specialisation that suits your interest – in Network Engineering, Software Design, Systems Administration, or Business Analysis.
