Course Description

The BSc in Banking and Finance aims to introduce the students not only to the economics of banking and finance but also to establish the links between the changing nature of financial markets, institutions and investors’ decisions. It also covers the key areas of real estate finance and financial regulation, set in the wider context of an understanding of key issues in economics and finance. The course will offer training to pursue a range of exciting careers in City, the Government, in positions as economists, analysts, researchers, traders and managers, or undertake postgraduate studies.

Career outcomes

Graduates of BSc degrees offered by the Department of Economics and Finance at Brunel have an excellent employment record and go on to work in a wide variety of occupations.
