Master of Finance

Course Description

According to the Financial Times, a Master of Finance is the “must-have degree” for those seeking professional careers in specialist finance roles, including investment banking and asset management. Finance is concerned with how individuals, firms, financial institutions and governments allocate and manage resources within domestic and international economies. Finance professionals focus on how securities and commodities are developed, exchanged, and priced. More recently, finance as a discipline has widened to include how financial decisions are influenced by investor psychology, and how the formation of prices in market microstructures are impacted by securities markets’ rules and regulations. Bond's Master of Finance is a quantitatively rigorous program that will give you a strong understanding of financial principles and their application to corporate financial policy, international financial markets, derivative assets and their associated markets, plus a strong understanding of specialised aspects of the financial industry. Students will gain unparalleled access to Bond Business School's two financial trading rooms and 40 Bloomberg terminals - the most of any university in Australia.
