Course Description

The Bachelor of Information Technology/Bachelor of Business Administration combines IT/IS and business skills and learning to develop rounded IT/IS professionals with a sound understanding of management and business administration. Teamed with a workplace project, this course will enable you to be job-ready for a broad range of business opportunities. You will be taught technical, business and relationship skills to build and integrate effective business information processes to transform decision-making structures within an organisation into efficient and effective systems. On completion of the four-year course you should have broad and coherent knowledge and skills in: business management; organisational behaviour and change; written and oral technical and interpersonal communication; personal and team management in complex IT project environments; theoretical and applied aspects of information and communications technology; the critical analysis, evaluation and resolution of a range of technical IT issues; an area of technical specialisation: application development; business analysis or database analysis; conducting technical and project-related research in corporate and industrial contexts.
