Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience MSc

Course Description

Work alongside world leading researchers. Get hands-on experience with our specialist facilities and gain the skills required to pursue a PhD or research career in cognitive neuroscience or related disciplines. Our psychology research has been classified as world-leading and internationally excellent in the Government’s 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF). On our course you’ll learn how to interpret and analyse structural and functional neuroimaging (MRI and fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG) and other datasets, while gaining experience in neuropsychological assessment for clinical and research purposes. Lectures, seminars and practical workshops will introduce you to current theoretical issues in clinical and cognitive neuroscience. We will explore neuro-anatomy and connectivity and how multiple converging approaches can strengthen the research process. Your dissertation allows you to independently research an area you are passionate about. Supported by lecturers who are prominent researchers and longstanding members of Cambridge’s world-renowned research community.
