Our department is one of the nation’s leading centers for teaching and research in political science. We are the second largest major in Yale College, with more than 50 faculty, 100 PhD students and over 400 undergraduate majors. The Department offers numerous seminars and lecture courses for undergraduates. We also offer research opportunities to students in the major, including resources for field–work on senior projects. Students can declare as a Political Science major at any time during their undergraduate studies. Advisers should be consulted about the choice of courses and developing a coherent program of study.
