Our Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Applied Economics program provides a strong background in economics with an applied theoretical and empirical approach to understand, interpret and explore the issues and challenges in today’s society. This Applied Economics program is more flexible than our BA in Economics program – meaning you can combine this program with another one, and earn two majors. Note: students in our Applied Economics program are not eligible for co-op. However, if you meet the progression requirements and transfer from Applied Economics to Economics by the end of your first year, you can then apply to co-op.
