Course Description

Admittance to the general business program requires admission to the College of Business and Economics. Undergraduate students in the general business program gain an overall understanding of business and how organizations operate. Students in this program are well prepared to enter corporate management training programs. Students plan a customized curriculum with their advisors, taking 27 credits of upper level business courses, but no more than 9 credits in any specific discipline. General Business majors choose the upper level business course electives from accounting, economics, finance, management (hospitality and tourism, small business, international, and human resources management), marketing, and management information systems courses.
