Foundation Diploma in Interior Design

Course Description

This structured foundation programme provides essential preparation for entry to degree courses in interior design. You will carry out a wide variety of design activities in the studio and on study visits. During the course you will identify your strengths and interests and ultimately choose your specialist pathway. All British universities require applicants to interior design degree programmes to submit a portfolio of their work as part of the application process, and it is on this portfolio that their application will mainly be judged. On this foundation programme you will, over the year, put together a portfolio of your best work under the expert guidance of experienced tutors. A team of professional artists, designers and teachers will support you. You will have a dedicated studio space, access to computing labs, a virtual learning environment and a well stocked library. Our central London location will give you easy access to some of the finest museums, art galleries and design companies, from which to draw your inspiration, The course concludes with an end of year exhibition or your work.
