The agricultural biotechnology major is designed for students interested in careers as laboratory or research technicians in plant biotechnology, breeding, genetics, or physiology. It can also be excellent preparation for graduate study. WSU has several excellent biotechnology-focused graduate programs. The degree given is a bachelor of science in integrated plant sciences with a major in agricultural biotechnology. A professional internship is required for graduation.
