Business Information Technology

Course Description

Students of business information technology learn how to apply quantitative techniques and models using computer information technology to solve managerial problems, as well as a logical and scientific approach to managerial decision-making. There are two options within the department — computer-based decision support systems and operations management. Option I, computer-based decision support systems, educates students in the design, implementation, and use of computerized information technology systems to solve business problems. Option II, operation supply chain management, educates students in the management, planning and control of operational systems and supply chains in organizations and businesses.
