Course Description

Our undergraduate course curriculum is designed to give you the technical knowledge and people skills you need to succeed in a variety of industries or settings while allowing you choices along the way to match your interests. As a student in one of the nation’s Top10 IE programs you will have the chance to explore all five areas of industrial and systems engineering that the department currently specializes in: Decision Science and Operations Research, Health Systems Engineering, Human Factors and Ergonomics, Manufacturing and Production Systems, and Quality Engineering. To help prepare you for future success in the workplace many of our courses focus on team and design projects and give you the opportunity to work on real problems for real companies.
