Course Description

Much of today's technology could not be created without the expertise of electrical engineers. Satellite communication, television, computers, wireless networks, radio, and energy distribution all involve electrical engineering. Through co-op work terms and access to some of the best electrical engineering student labs in North America, you'll gain experience starting right in first year. Study digital communications over channels such as the Internet. Learn to use computers to control a production line. Or develop the next generation of wireless networks. Co-op means that you'll graduate with 2 years of co-op work experience, earn money, and be able to try out different career areas even before you finish school. With 500 technology companies in Waterloo Region, you can easily gain paid co-op work experience with leading companies. An annual design symposium gives you the opportunity to show your fourth-year project to the public - as well as potential employers and investors!
