The BA Drama and Theatre Studies course has been carefully designed to ensure that you receive an integrated critical and creative experience through a clearly structured development programme of intellectual, practical and technical skills. You will explore dramatic history, theory and performance in a range of contexts and settings, and will have the chance to work with leading professionals and be actively involved with productions. Our staff have links with a number of theatre companies and practitioners, and are engaged in cutting-edge research.

A degree in Drama and Theatre Studies will prepare you for careers working with theatre companies, film and television, community drama, or in the media. Other career prospects include Arts and literary management, teaching (following a PGCE), public relations, personnel, and management. You may choose to pursue postgraduate study or a career in research or academia.
