Accounting involves identifying, analyzing and communicating economic/financial information to organizations and individuals so they can make informed decisions. Accounting integrates strategy, management, audit and assurance, finance and taxation as part of a decision making process. Professionals in this field must demonstrate professionalism, communication, teamwork and leadership skills. The Accounting Specialist is accredited by the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) with direct entry to the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
