Course Description

As a writer, you develop a strong feeling for language and the linguistic tools available to you. You extend your boundaries and stretch yourself to refine your writing technique. If you are aiming for a career in writing, editing or publishing, this course is an excellent foundation. Alongside studying topics such as Renaissance literature, Romantic poetry, Victorian novels and contemporary writing, you have the opportunity to practise your creativity in a number of forms, contexts and genres. You gain a solid understanding of the creative-critical crossover, and develop creative and analytical skills which are greatly valued by employers.
