Course Description

Biotechnology When scientists wanted to produce more wheat per acre to help feed the world’s starving, they hybridized the plant to have a bigger seed head. When they wanted to create an anti-lymphoma vaccine, they used tobacco plants carrying RNA from cloned malignant B-cells. Flowers that are bigger and better perfumed? Not a problem. Biotechnology creates some of the wonders of the world. The goal of our biotechnology program is to make you a part of that wondrous work.
