Advanced Engineering MSc

Course Description

Our engineering courses are designed to develop your specialist skills and knowledge within your chosen area of engineering. In the case of the MSc in Advanced Engineering, the course is designed to both broaden and deepen your knowledge across a wide range of engineering subject areas. All of our engineering courses are offered as both full-time and part-time options, offering you the flexibility to organise your study around your other commitments. Our part-time options also mean that you can apply your knowledge in your workplace straight away. Our practical modules enable you to gain skills in state-of-the-art engineering and the latest technologies. All of our Engineering MSc courses are available 'with Industry', meaning that you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in a working environment during a work placement of up to nine months. Your course will provide you with the skills to develop your career or move into further research.

For example, the Department offers modules in mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, and communications engineering.
