The News and Information track prepares students for careers in news, writing and editing, management, and sales in traditional media and emerging and converged media. If you see yourself reporting, writing or editing news -- online, broadcast or print -- choose the News and Information track.

The News and Information track prepares students for careers in news, writing and editing, management, and sales in traditional media and emerging and converged media. Our alumni have gone on to have careers as producers for major TV news broadcasts, bloggers and directors at ESPN, reporters for USA Today, NBC and much more. Resources for Students: The Journalism Career Center (JCC) offers career guidance and counseling for J-School students. The JCC can help you at any stage in your college career, whether you are ready to enter the job market or just beginning to explore the possibilities of journalism.
