This course has an emphasis computer-aided engineering including 3D modelling, computer-aided analysis, simulation and computer-aided manufacture. What you will learn This course will give you the combination of skills necessary to support many branches of engineering related to the development of aerospace products. You will develop your practical skills in the early stages in workshops and well-equipped laboratories, while you will develop your management skills in the second half of the course to enable you to achieve your career aspirations within the aerospace industry. A particular feature of the course is group work, which will enable you to develop your team-working skills and improve your employability.

There are employment opportunities in a variety of areas, ranging from airline operators to large aircraft manufacturers to small aerospace supply chain companies. Jobs can vary from managing specialist laboratories/ test facilities to the supervision of production lines, and specialisation in CAD to project management.
