Accounting and Financial Information Systems, BA Hons

Course Description

Our degree has been developed with input from professional accountancy bodies and financial institutions. Courses focus on practical skills using software and systems such as MS Excel, MS Access, Visual Studio, SAP ERP 6.0 and SAGE 50 accounts software. You will study core and optional courses with an emphasis on financial systems and models, including quantitative analysis and management accounting control systems. Professional exemptions If you successfully complete this degree with the relevant course options, you will be exempt from a number of exam papers leading to professional qualifications from ACCA, AIA, CIMA and CIPFA. This will set you on the path to becoming a qualified accountant after university and increasing career earning potential within the accountancy sector.
