Our Accounting and Finance degree gives you the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of how accounting and finance fits into the broader context of business and management. In the first year, you study compulsory modules designed to give you a good grounding in the disciplines required by a modern manager. In the second and final year, you go on to combine compulsory accounting and finance-themed modules with the choice of a list of optional specialist modules which allows you to design a programme of study to suit your needs and interests.

This course prepares you well for a career in accounting, financial management or the financial services sector, as well as wider management positions. Employers of our graduates include HSBC, Asda, NG Bailey, Royal Bank of Scotland, TK Maxx and the NHS. Many of our modules attract accreditation from ACCA or CIMA.
