Course Description

Industrial engineers design and implement systems integrating people, materials, machines, energy, and information. Such systems might include production planning, quality assurance, management information, facility planning, inventory control, and workplace design. Students learn how to design and operate manufacturing and services systems. In addition to basic engineering, courses include mathematical and computer modeling and decision making.
