Course Description

The Graduate School of Education has designed an Advanced Graduate Certificate program in Educational Technology and New Literacies. The Advanced Certificate in Educational Technology and New Literacies program is intended for master's, post-master's, and non-degree students interested solely in the Certificate. The program coursework is comprised of 15 credit hours. The program is appropriate for any students interested in issues of technology in education and 21st century literacies. Students enrolled in any GSE program, preparing for careers in teaching, administration, counseling, or research may obtain the Certificate along with their degree. Students in graduate programs outside GSE who have an interest in education are also welcome, as are persons from the community who are interested in the Certificate without any accompanying degrees.
