The relationships between health, sustainability and environmental challenges have created an unprecedented need to come to terms with our impact on the environment. The Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) will prepare you to understand, assess and even help reverse the impact. Environmental Studies is a multi-disciplinary academic field that systematically studies human interaction with the environment in the interest of solving complex problems. It is a broad field of study that includes the natural environment, social and built environments and the sets of relationships among them.

Some career tracks include: environmental consulting companies, environmental law, government sectors of environmental quality control and monitoring, environmental management and conservation, education/teaching, and research.
