Mizzou’s Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering program is a typical engineering program: 4 years of calculus and physics. But beyond that there’s a lot of probability, statistics and optimization that enable students to become strong, quantitative thinkers in order to address both the micro and macro levels of our society’s most basic and complex systems. Basically engineering is about problem solving, math and physics. Industrial engineering is all of these and more.
