Teaching adults? UCOL’s CATA programme will help you. UCOL’s Certificate in Adult Teaching Advanced (CATA) is a qualification that will give you the skills to teach adults. So if you need to teach, explain, facilitate or demonstrate to adults, then you should enrol in CATA. The programme is made up of four papers, all of which are studied part-time for one day per week. Night classes may also be available (subject to numbers). Some of the sessions are delivered on-line, so you may easily fit this into your work schedule. The Certificate programme aims to provide you with a sound knowledge of current practice in adult learning and teaching and a repertoire of strategies to use in teaching and learning, assessment, programme design, the research process and teaching practicum.​​
