The UTS:INSEARCH Diploma of Engineering is offered over eight (Accelerated program), twelve (Standard program) or sixteen (Extended program) months in duration and is designed in collaboration with the UTS Faculty of Engineering. The outcomes are equivalent to the first year of university study. On successful completion of your diploma, you will receive 48 credit points towards a UTS Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) across several exciting majors. In other words you can FAST TRACK into the second year of your degree! Students who successfully complete the Diploma of Engineering will understand practical uses for engineering, gain skills from each of the subject areas and be able to communicate professionally and ethically in engineering environments. Graduates of the Diploma of Engineering will have breadth, depth and complexity of the skills and knowledge to be able to participate in the planning, managing and reviewing of a range of solutions to problems in engineering environments.
