The Health Professions curriculum consists of programs and majors in the Department of Biological Sciences and many other departments, such as Chemistry and Psychology, that prepare students for productive and satisfying careers in chiropractic medicine, dentistry, medicine (allopathic and osteopathic), optometry, pharmacy, physician assistance, physical therapy, podiatry and veterinary medicine, to name a few. Academic preparation for the health professions requires a solid academic foundation in the biological sciences, physical sciences and the liberal arts.
