The BSc (Hons) in Biology offers you the opportunity for study in all aspects of plant and animal life. Biologists are literate, numerate, experienced in research and excellent at evaluating complex data and presenting logical arguments. Many of our graduates enjoy biology-related careers in areas such as the health service (for example, in clinical laboratories and health education), conservation organisations, the forensic science service, animal charities, teaching, government bodies such as the scientific Civil Service and the Environment Agency, as well as zoo and museum work.
