The Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) is a program for high-achieving students. The program is specialised with a research focus and concentrates on the liberal arts. Students complete two Majors chosen from the following list of 10 areas of study: English; History; Politics and International Studies; Anthropology; Philosophy; Classics; Linguistics; European Studies; Gender Studies and Social Analysis; and Asian Studies. The BA (Advanced) is an excellent pathway to research study, as well as providing a springboard into careers involving policy making and consultancy. Transfer into the Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) is possible after succesful completion of 12 units of study based on academic merit.
