Access to HE Diplomas are designed to prepare mature (18 years or older) learners for Higher Education (HE). The Access to HE Diploma in Business for International Students programme has been specifically designed for international learners. As well as providing a broad base for Business Studies, it includes significant tutorial and language support. A supportive learning environment is provided by using a variety of methods, including lectures, seminars (student-centred discussion), tutorials, group work, practical workshops and private study, all based on a weekly timetable. The opportunity to study for the IELTS test is an integral part of the course.

Students can progress onto university courses in: marketing, accounting and finance, economics, human resource management, business administration, public administration and business information technology. The course enables progression onto either a Foundation Degree, or HNC/D programme currently being offered at The Manchester College as well as Business, Finance and Management Degrees at most UK universities.
