Course Description

This course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of criminology. This includes knowledge of crime, explanations for why people break the law, the workings of the criminal justice and penal systems in the UK and abroad, and criminal investigation. A key strength of the BA (Hons) Criminology, Policing & Forensics course at the University of West London is our work-based learning modules. Typically, you will work in areas such as youth offending, victim support, crime prevention, witness support and various policing support roles including as a special constable.
