Course Description

Who is this course for? A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications. What qualifications or experience do I need ? 2 AS Levels at grades A-D including this subject. E grades will be considered on an individual basis. GCSE English at grade B or above. What will I study ? A2 Government and Politics specification - 9063 Examining Board - EDEXCEL Units 3 and 4 focus on ideology, mainly but not only in a British context. The ideologies examined are: Unit 3 - Introducing Ideologies: Liberalism, Conservatism, Socialism, Anarchism Unit 4 - Other Ideological Traditions: Nationalism, Feminism, Ecologicalism, Multiculturalism * In addition, Tutorial will be added.
