I did my undergraduate business degree at QUT, majoring in accounting. The courses at QUT are very practical and hands-on - it’s all linked backed to real life situations and that really helped me in terms of securing my role as a finance and compliance analyst. Graduates who complete the accountancy major and the professional accounting extension* meet the academic component of requirements for membership of CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and enrolment in their respective professional programs.
